The journalism alumni on this website are a fraction (10 percent) of the many hundreds who graduated over recent decades. We expect that more and more of them will join us here, as the word gets out. We want our journalism graduates to nourish each other.
Years ago, when she was wearing robes on a lower court, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor said she loved lawyers who had backgrounds in journalistic writing, and she preferred them when hiring law clerks. The skills of journalists are envied by those in politics, in business, in the sciences and in other fields. When you get to our home page, and look at our grads, you’ll note a variety of work choices, though most are in the field of journalism. You’ll note, too, a certain inner satisfaction. Derek Norman, Class of ’17, shared a dreamy photo of himself with Frank Sinatra in the background. Maybe, deep down inside, we all, like Derek, want to be able to say, “I did it my way.”
Here, below, are the alumni, listed alphabetically. You’ll see fuller bios and their photos by clicking on the “Here They Are” link on the homepage. If you want to find a specific grad, use the “find” function on your computer or smartphone.
